DAY 8 - Nose Gear / Spring / Front Deck work

We continued the work on the nose gear by fitting the front leg, wheel bracket, spring, tire and more. We will be positioning the spring for best effectiveness. The 700 lbs capacity spring will be evaluated first. We can change out to different springs and strengths. We also worked on the front deck to prepare for the panel.

Motor mount with gear installed and spring in position. The Fuse in leveled for this procedure.

Deciding on spring alignment before gluing in supports

Setting up the Fuse for final spring and Nose gear installation - before dummy engine installation for weight purposes

Trimming and Gluing in the instrument panel where we want it.

Fitting the stainless firewall ... it will look nice and clean.
